ADHD Specialist Teaching Assistant

We're seeking a committed ADHD Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive team at a thriving secondary school in Barnet. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, exceptional pastoral care, and commitment to student well-being and academic achievement.

In this role, you'll work closely with individual students and small groups across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, tailoring support to meet the unique needs of pupils with ADHD. You'll collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to deliver consistent and nurturing support that encourages engagement, builds confidence, and fosters independence.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience supporting students with ADHD or similar needs
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A passion for inclusive education and student well-being
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
