As a successful candidate you will be working as part of the IRIS Engineering / Customer implementation function specifically on our HR & payroll portfolio.
This is a hands-on technical role working within a team to execute data tasks and support large scale customer data migration activities.
You will need to be highly motivated, have strong communication and problem-solving skills. A team player that can rise to the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and prepared to learn and apply new technical skills. You will also be able to troubleshoot mass data migration tasks to identify errors, recommend and execute remedial actions.

Purpose :Utilize, manipulate, manage, update, validate, and troubleshoot customer HR and payroll data as part of single data or bulk update requests for customers.
As well as designing and enhancing best practice, you will work with key stakeholders to ensure security, business continuity and customers are always the prime focus.
Significant HR and payroll domain / industry experience is desirable and will be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with IRIS Enterprise, data privacy and security standards.
Generation of bespoke customer reports using SSRS and Excel. Review existing scripts and reports to improve performance and ensure they are optimized for large datasets.
Responsibilities :- Implement best practise as part of the data update process to ensure live data base integrity
- Liaise with IRIS projects team to ensure data tasks are written and executed on time and to the customers requirements
- Ensuring GDPR regulations and data security is maintained at all times
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to support data migration efforts
- Good planning, organisation and time management skills
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, department colleagues and the wider organisation
- Strong customer focus
- Team-oriented; willing to align work with teams priorities and goals
Experience :Required- 5+ years industry experience in data manipulation using SQL queries to extract and update customer data
- T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
- Demonstrableability to implement best practice guardrails and governance.
Advantageous- Understanding of GDPR for managing PII data
- Demonstrableprevious HR / Payroll database experience
- Report generating software expertise
