We're recruiting for an Engineering Shift Manager to join a leading food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire. This days-based role offers up to £60,000 and is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong engineering and team management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Salary: Up to £60,000
Shift: Day shift
Location: Cambridgeshire - Commutable from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Wisbech, Ely, Cambridge, Chatteris, Downham Market, Spalding, March

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of engineers to ensure smooth operations

Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities

Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across the site

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements:

Strong engineering background with experience in food manufacturing

Previous leadership or management experience within an engineering team

Proven ability to drive performance and process improvements

A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
