We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Electrical Installations to deliver an outstanding student experience to young adults and experienced trade professionals. Position: Lecturer in Electrical InstallationsSalary: Up to £31,000 for unqualified candidates (In FE) , up to £43,000 for candidates qualified in Further EducationHours: Full-timeLocation: Bradford

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Deliver high-quality instruction on courses specified by the management team, both on and off College premises.
• Programme Delivery: Assist the management team in providing high learning value and financially efficient programmes, including managing physical resources, and leading on innovation and efficiency in learning delivery.
• Student Development: Take responsibility for students' academic progress, wellbeing, behavior management, and provide careers and pastoral guidance throughout their learning journey.
• Student Engagement: Actively seek out and respond to the student voice, recognizing students as primary stakeholders in their learning.
• Skill Development: Help students develop modern, safe working practices and behaviors in both technical (vocational skills) and employability skills.
• Assessment: Participate actively in the enrolment, monitoring, profiling, and assessment of students.
• Industry Links: Proactively develop and promote close links with employer and industry partners.
• Innovative Learning: Create enriching, effective, and inspirational programmes of learning that expose students to real-life work experiences, both on and off campus.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Preferred: 2391 in Inspection and Testing.
• Proven experience in the electrical installations industry.
• A recognized teaching qualification is desirable but not essential - we are willing to support the right candidate through teaching qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and industry partners.
• A passion for education and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students to excel in their field of study and work.
