What You'll Be Doing:

Join the Acute Medicine/Orthopaedics team in Oxford and make a positive impact on patient recovery. In this role, the successful candidate will:

Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to acute medical and orthopaedic patients.
Carry out comprehensive assessments to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans.
Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to maximize their independence and functional ability.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and contribute to discharge planning.
Use evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for patients across the acute and orthopaedic wards.
Maintain accurate records of assessments and treatment plans.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in acute medicine and/or orthopaedic settings.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A commitment to high standards of patient care and a patient-centred approach to therapy.
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours depending on availability.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role is full-time, with flexible working options available for part-time candidates. The role requires an ASAP start and is ongoing, with the potential for extension based on service needs and performance.
