£43k-45k plus benefits, including Healthcare, life cover & Flexible working.

The CSI Trainer/ Proficiency Tester will be responsible for facilitating and delivering training courses, bespoke training and Proficiency Testing to meet Law Enforcement needs not limited to:

* Preparing inputs / room prep / practical sessions for training and PT

* Conduct tutorials with students during course

* Mark exams and written assessments, peer review and final report production

* When required, organise timetables for courses rewrite and rearrange inputs where necessary

* When required, organise, arrange and book external inputs from external consultants / internal scientists

* Check stock for courses including CSI equipment and consumables, sand for footprints etc

* Write final written reports for students / forces after conclusion of course or PT and submit to forces

* Travel to forces across the UK may be required for delivery of PT's or courses

Requirements:

* Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience as an operational CSI

* Ideally previous experience in proficiency testing

* Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems

* Team player, able to work flexibly and with initiative to bring forward ideas.

* Excellent communication skills, English and grammar, and a keen eye for detail

* Highly organised and use to taking ownership of workload and deliverables.

* Proven administrative ability and computer literacy.

* Full/Clean driving licence, with the ability to attend PT and training across the UK

Please note: Due to the nature of the role and our work, applicants will be required to be DBS checked, and able to pass a SC/NVVP3 security clearance check. To gain this level of security clearance you must have been resident in the UK for a continuous period of 5 years
