Driver Hire (Torbay) is currently seeking HGV/LGV drivers of all classes and experience levels, including C1, Category C, and C+E license holders. About the Role:
Our clients are looking for HGV drivers across various classes, offering a fantastic opportunity for those eager to gain experience in the industry. This role is also ideal for newly qualified drivers, including those who have recently obtained their licenses in the armed forces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting as required.
- Engage in a variety of work assignments, from ad hoc roles to temp-to-perm positions.
Working Hours:
- Flexible working hours are available, with options for both day and night shifts.
- Full-time and part-time roles are available to suit your needs.
Requirements:
- A full and valid driving licence in Category C1, C, or C+E.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence, with no DR, DD, or IN convictions.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting, carrying, and manoeuvring in and out of the vehicle.
- Own transportation for commuting to and from work.
- A working mobile phone for communication.
