Executive Assistant

Reports to: Executive HR Director
Location: Birmingham
Salary: up to £34,000

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a proactive, discreet PA with senior-level support experience. The position requires strong organizational skills to manage the Executive Office, liaise with staff and stakeholders, and handle a varied workload while contributing to key projects for the Senior Leadership Team.

Main Duties

Manage SLT diaries, schedule routine meetings, and coordinate events with other departments.
Handle inquiries from internal and external sources, often without needing to refer to SLT.
Prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, minute-taking, and distributing necessary documentation.
Organize room bookings, hospitality, and stationery supplies as needed.
Create presentations, reports, and other documents for the SLT, and support/deputize for the EA to the Principal.
Coordinate college events, ensure confidentiality, and uphold college values, including safeguarding and equality.
Maintain accurate filing systems, improve administrative procedures, and notify SLT of any identified risks.Requirements

Previous experience in a PA role supporting a senior executive
Experience collating minutes from meetings
High level of IT proficiency and experience of Microsoft Office
Proven diary management skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Able to pass a DBS check
No previous convictions
