A renowned Defense / Aerospace Manufacturing organisation located in Uxbridge (West London) requires a Security Compliance Manager within the Compliance team to help protect our people, assets and information while ensuring ongoing regulatory and policy adherence.

Key Responsibilities - Security Compliance Manager

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant security regulations, standards and best practices across physical, information and cybersecurity domains.
  • As Security Compliance Manager, you’ll be involved with developing and overseeing security compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, managing audits, and implementing policies aligned with company and defence industry regulations.
  • Writing security policies and security documentation.
  • Collaborate and engage with internal teams such as IT, Legal, Compliance, Operations and further specialist functions to identify and mitigate security risks, ensure third-party compliance and support incident response efforts.

Skills & Experience - Security Compliance Manager

  • Proven experience of cybersecurity / security compliance, risk management and compliance framework knowledge such as ISO27001.
  • Knowledge and experience of NIST SP#removed#, DEF STAN05-138, Cyber Essentials and security related DFARs would be advantageous.
  • Policy writing and procedural documentation experience required.
  • Highly desirable qualifications / professional membership - CISA, CISSP, CISM or CIPP
  • Excellent communication skills, strong levels of judgement and pragmatism, with the ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the business.
