JOB- Internal Sales Engineer 
LOCATION- West Yorkshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience 
 
My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on an Internal Sales Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Yorkshire area.
 
The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
 
• NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering 
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written; to work well over the phone
• Be able to work well individually as well as a team
• Previous experience working in a similar technical engineering, technical sales or manufacturing environment would be ideal
• Engineering knowledge such as technical sales, torques, gears, power, machines etc. 
• Be proficient with using MS Office applications 
• CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage 
• Training will give on both the product and sales side of things 
• A Full UK Driving Licence would be beneficial but not essential 
 
The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve:
 
• Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager
• Working with customers providing technical advice and customer service
• Ensuring sales requirements match customers' needs
• Preparing quotations as required
• Working over the phone with customers'
• Helping to develop sales to both new and existing customers' offering the correct solutions
• Providing support to the external sales team with commercial support
• Selecting the appropriate products
• Working with the company CRM system
