Forge Talent is proud to be partnering with a well know business based in the heart of Liverpool, who are a £50M+ turnover business. They have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller you will work across all Day to Day & Month End Finance Tasks including:

• End to End Purchase Ledger: Deal with all Supplier Payments and Queries, Invoice Processing including Cross Checking & Approve Purchase Orders Processing
• Staff Expenses - Processing & Payment off Staff Expenses
• Accounts Receivable: Credit Control, heavy involved in Query Management and Resolution
• Cash Allocation and Bank Postings
• Producing Bank Reconciliations
• Ad Hoc Tasks set from Finance Director

Profile:

• Accounting and Finance Degree or AAT Qualification would be advantageous
• Strong Finance Experience - Ideally across AP & AR but minimum 3 years experience of AP
• Strong Analytical Skills - including Excel
• Self Motivated and Good Communication
