Salary: £40000 - £45000/annum plus car allowance and fuel expense
We are recruiting a Business Development Manager for our client based in Manchester.
The purpose of this role is to improve the business's market position and achieve sales growth.
Main Responsibilities
* To work with National & Regional Account Managers to grow & develop existing accounts
* To prospect for potential new clients and turn these into increased business
* To cold call as appropriate within your geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
* To identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization
* To research & build relationships with new clients
* To present new products & services to enhance existing relationships
* To work with technical staff and other colleagues to meet customer needs
* To identify opportunities with existing customers that will lead to an increase in sales
* To use your knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
* To submit weekly reports, ensuring that data is accurate
* To track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet targets
* To understand the company's goals and purpose to continually enhance the company's performance
