Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Associate for their FX Settlements department. This role offers an attractive salary of £55,000 and is based in the vibrant city of London. What you'll do:

As an Operations Associate in FX Settlements, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the company's production and testing services. You will be responsible for ensuring that settlement and funding are completed within set deadlines, executing failure management scenarios when necessary. Your role will also involve liaising with various stakeholders including Members, Liquidity Providers, Central Banks, RTGS system operators and Nostros regarding testing and trialling activities. Providing excellent client service to existing and potential customers will be at the heart of your role. Additionally, you will support test services in line with current live operational procedures and produce regular internal and external facing reports.

  • Monitor the production and testing services effectively, ensuring settlement and funding completes within set deadlines.
  • Execute failure management scenarios in case of non-completion within set deadlines.
  • Ensure timely completion of scheduled operational tasks and system events as per daily operational checklist.
  • Liaise with Members, Liquidity Providers, Central Banks, RTGS system operators and Nostros regarding testing and trialling activities.
  • Provide excellent client service to existing and potential customers.
  • Support test services in-line with current live operational procedures.
  • Produce and distribute regular internal and external facing reports in various formats.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Operations Associate - FX Settlements position brings extensive experience from a banking environment. You should have comprehensive knowledge of international payment operations and understand payment systems along with their interface packages. Your background should include providing key operational services on a global scale. Direct customer interaction should be a strong point in your professional experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office is also required for this role.

  • Extensive experience in a banking environment encompassing all aspects of front, middle and back-office processing.
  • Thorough knowledge of international payment operations.
  • Understanding of payments systems and their interface packages.
  • Experience providing key operational services in a global environment.
  • Experience dealing with customers and other third parties directly.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft including Windows and Office.
