The Role

This Audit Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow within a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful candidate will:

  • Manage a Client Portfolio: Oversee a diverse portfolio (starting at £400k), ensuring all deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, and audits are delivered efficiently.
  • Work Split: Approx. 75% Audit, 15% Accounts Preparation, 10% Corporate Tax.
  • Leadership & Development: Mentor and train junior team members, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a high-performing culture.
  • Client Relationships: Build strong relationships, lead client meetings, and actively participate in new client pitches and business development.
  • Efficiency & Innovation: Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and service quality.
The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) with proven experience managing audits in a professional services environment.
  • A strong commitment to client care and service excellence.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • High technical competence, commercial awareness, and excellent attention to detail.
  • A focus on continuous learning and development through CPD.
