The Role This Audit Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow within a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful candidate will:
- Manage a Client Portfolio: Oversee a diverse portfolio (starting at £400k), ensuring all deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, and audits are delivered efficiently.
- Work Split: Approx. 75% Audit, 15% Accounts Preparation, 10% Corporate Tax.
- Leadership & Development: Mentor and train junior team members, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a high-performing culture.
- Client Relationships: Build strong relationships, lead client meetings, and actively participate in new client pitches and business development.
- Efficiency & Innovation: Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and service quality.
The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will bring:
- A professional qualification (ACA/ACCA) with proven experience managing audits in a professional services environment.
- A strong commitment to client care and service excellence.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- High technical competence, commercial awareness, and excellent attention to detail.
