The Role:

We're seeking a commercially driven and highly connected Business Development Director to lead our strategic growth within the data centre market. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a business development strategy tailored to the data centre sector

• Identify, pursue, and secure new clients and projects across EMEA and other key regions

• Build strong, long-term relationships with developers, operators, contractors, and other industry stakeholders

• Work closely with technical teams to shape competitive, innovative proposals

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums

• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities

• Lead bid processes and support pre-contract negotiations

About You:

• Proven track record in business development within the MEP or data centre consultancy environment

• Deep knowledge of the data centre market, including key players, trends, and technical drivers

• Strong industry network across developers, operators, and design teams

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach

• Ideally experienced working in a multi-disciplinary or consultancy environment
