Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled History teacher to join our team on a full-time maternity cover contract from 24th March 2025 to 23rd March 2026. This role requires a committed educator who can deliver high-quality history lessons, plan engaging content, and participate in all school-related activities, including parent's evenings.

Responsibilities:

Teaching History to secondary school students across various year groups.
Creating lesson plans that meet the academic needs of students and foster their interest in history.
Assessing and marking student's work, providing feedback to support their academic growth.
Participating in school meetings, staff development, and parent-teacher conferences.
Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching History at the secondary level.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A strong passion for history and education.Additional Information:
The maternity cover is needed for the full academic year, with an expected reduction to four working days per week from September 2025
