We are looking for a devoted Science Teacher who can promote learning and maintain standards for a welcoming secondary school in Surrey from January 2025. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher to encourage excitement and a love of science in the students, while contributing to the excellence of a well-respected science department.
The role As a successful Science Teacher, you will uphold high teaching standards throughout the curriculum, covering KS3 and KS4 for all three sciences. You will serve as a role model for students, demonstrating commitment to the role, fostering discipline, and diligently planning engaging and stimulating lessons. This role offers a wonderful chance to become part of a warm school community and a dedicated team.
The ideal candidate The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore the successful Science Teacher must have the following:
- An ability to teach science at both Key Stage 3 & 4 (biology, chemistry and physics)
- A passion for science

- The desire and ability to work on an individual and team basis
- An ability to promote effective teaching and learning
