As a Production Operator you will be operating and monitoring equipment in the aluminium rolling process.

Main duties

* Operating rolling mills and related machinery to process aluminium coils according to production schedules and quality standards.

* Monitoring the production line for any abnormalities or deviations and taking corrective actions to optimise efficiency and product quality.

* Conducting routine machine inspections and reporting any issues to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.

* Assisting in the setup and changeover of equipment for different product specifications.

* Collaborating with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve operational challenges.

* Adhering to strict safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

* Prior experience as a production operator in a metal manufacturing or similar industry is preferred.

* Familiarity with operating rolling mills, slitters, and other equipment used in the aluminium rolling process is desirable.

* Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively.

Working pattern: 42 hour shift pattern working days and nights which includes two 12 hour days 6am-6pm, two 12 hour nights 6pm-6am followed by four rest days.
