Your Role:

* Act as a key technical interface with customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.

* Capture, derive, and manage engineering requirements to address mission-critical needs.

* Design and develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.

* Create and analyse system budgets (e.g., power, mass) to ensure optimal performance.

* Oversee multidisciplinary teams through design, integration, and testing phases.

* Plan and execute rigorous test campaigns for hardware and software systems.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for mission-critical applications.

* Deliver verified flight-ready systems meeting exacting customer specifications.

Your Experience and Skills:

* Commercial experience in designing, manufacturing, and testing complex systems.

* Previous experience working with optics, optical sensors, and opto-mechanical assemblies.

* Familiar with formal configuration control methods and environmental testing.

* Previous experience developing and executing test plans, specifications, and procedures.

* Familiar with space industry standards such as ECSS.

* Strong skills in Python, Visual Basic, MATLAB, or C++.

* Hands-on experience with Manufacturing, Assembly, and Testing (MAT).

* Open to occasional travel to support project delivery and team collaboration.
