Warehouse Operatives needed
SureStaffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit Warehouse Operative, for our client based in Newport area, HU15. Our client is one of the leading plant service partners for large retailers in Europe.
Ideal candidate for a Warehouse Operatives role will have:
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages as required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in packing and order picking.
- Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or factory setting.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties of a Warehouse Operatives
- Sort, pack, and label products according to company standards.
- Inspect plants for quality, removing damaged or unhealthy ones.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Clean and maintain flowers.
- Weigh and arrange products for shipment, following packing guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the working area.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
Shift times for a Warehouse Operatives:
- Day shift only
- Flexibility required due to nature of the business
- 6am start
- 8-12hours/ day depending on orders
