Are you available immediately for a temporary assignment?  Do you have experience in an examination setting having adhered to strict processes and regulations? This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of examination boards and supporting the examination and assessment processes from start to end. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service delivery, ensuring that all procedures and regulations are adhered to effectively role may be extended for the right candidate

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Organise and ensure examination boards are conducted according to the correct procedures, with clear decision-making and management.
  •  Ensure system access is appropriate for students and staff.
  • Set up coursework and assessment processes, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee examination mark entry, including progression and award information, and create specific programme information relating to assessments and regulations.
  • Responsible for minuting Examination boards
  • Release results and provide feedback related to examinations and assessments and allocate markers for assessment and coursework.
  • Communicate effectively with students regarding coursework and assessment procedures.
  • Organise examination boards and coursework processes for each student cohort, ensuring efficient collation of submitted coursework.
  • Implement regulation changes in the examination systems and undertake the checking and processing of quality assurance documentation.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate systems for assessment in collaboration with the Assessment and Regulations Manager.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for external examiners and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues with student assessment and coursework processes, identify improvement opportunities, and escalate as appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of assessment and regulations processes.
  • I.T skills - Must have an advanced understanding of Excel in particular
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in planning, organising, and executing examination and assessment processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and initiative in solving problems.

Other:

  • Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
  • Based in the office.
  • 3 months contract with the potential to be extended
