We are a leading Chinese bank in the City and currently recruiting for an Assistant Relationship Manager/Relationship Manager for Private Banking. The Bank is renowned worldwide for its quality services to customers, and has operated in the UK as a Branch for 9 years.
As an Assistant Relationship Manager/Relationship Manager, you are expected to be a highly driven, career-minded individual with excellent knowledge of branding, event planning, and non-financial services in the Private Banking sector. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work within a small team, taking ownership of critical non-financial services and strategic initiatives. The responsibilities in the role of the Assistant Relationship Manager/Relationship Manager will include the following:
- Act as a key liaison for high-net-worth clients' non-financial service needs, identifying and delivering tailored solutions;
- Design and implement marketing strategies to promote the Private Banking brand and strengthen its market presence;
- Plan and execute high-quality client engagement events, including networking sessions, seminars, and exclusive experiences, etc.;
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party non-financial service providers, ensuring service quality and reliability;
- Conduct due diligence and performance reviews of external service partners to maintain high standards;
- Collaborate with internal teams to align non-financial services with the overall Private Banking strategy;
- Support the development and management of the Private Banking non-financial service platform;
- Other duties as assigned by the Branch and department management.
To be successful in the role of an Assistant Relationship Manager/Relationship Manager, the following key qualifications/skills are essential:
- A Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally with a background in marketing, hospitality, finance, economics, or a related field;
- Preferably work experience in business development, client engagement, or event planning;
- Excellent communication and inter-cultural skills, with fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin (both verbal and written);
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and partners;
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach with strong organisational abilities.
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will receive a mark-to-market salary package depending on experience. The closing date for applications is 21 March 2025.
