Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Hostel Team Leader to work across their two hostel-based services for young people aged 16- 25 years.

The role will require working across Monday - Friday 9am-5pm at their site in Heckmondwike and Huddersfield.

The successful postholder will be responsible for the supervision of a team of 9, comprised of Support Co-ordinators and Night Support Workers.

Responsibilities of the Hostel Team Leader:

Delivering a high-quality support service to young people aged 16-25 years living within a hostel based setting
Supervising a team of 9 staff members
Ensuring staff rotas are updated and covered in times of absence
Maintaining and monitoring policies and procedures within the team
Supporting colleagues within the team through training and coaching
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with external working partners

Essential Criteria of the Hostel Team Leader:

UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
Enhanced DBS
Experience managing complex rotas
Experience working within a hostel or refuge based setting
Minimum 2 years' experience within a Team Leader position
