Learning Support Assistant - Primary School - Grantham

Simply Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated support to primary-aged children aged 4 to 11 years old at a welcoming primary school in the Grantham area. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment, helping children with their educational and social development. The role is offered on a full-time basis from Monday to Friday, but part-time applicants will be considered for the right candidate.

The Role:

Provide learning support to children aged 4 to 11 years old in a primary school setting in the Grantham area.
Assist children with their educational development, including helping with literacy, numeracy, and other key curriculum areas.
Support children's social development by encouraging positive interactions and building confidence.
Deliver 1:1 support and small group interventions to help children meet their learning targets.
Work closely with class teachers and the SEN coordinator to implement individual learning plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel supported and valued.

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role within a primary school setting.
A passion for supporting children's educational and social development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting primary education.
