Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer on behalf of a well known company in the Energy sector.

Job role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs on a diverse range of mechanical and electrical building services engineering plants. You'll ensure all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with our contracted output specifications and processes.

The role is responsible for:

Conduct PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

Ensure swift resolution of plant faults and defects, maintaining serviceable order.

*

Prepare and adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks.

*

Maintain up-to-date site log books and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and passed to the Helpdesk Team promptly.

*

Supervise and monitor subcontractors to ensure work is carried out to a high standard.

*

Operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with processes and client requirements.

*

Provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business continuity.

*

Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.

*

Respond promptly to verbal and written requests.

*

Produce and coordinate information for quotations.

*

Support the Helpdesk in updating and reporting on planned and reactive maintenance.

*

Work in accordance with company health and safety policies.

*

Ensure all PPE is safe to use and report any accidents or near misses promptly.

*

Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and fit for purpose.

*

Follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all tasks.

To be considered for the Mobile Multiskilled Engineer role you must have the below skills and experience:

Electrical:

*

C&G Part A and B or equivalent (C&G 2330 Level 2 and 3, 18th Edition C&G 2382 - 18, C&G 2391 or 2394/2395).

*

NICEIC Periodic Inspection, Testing, and Certification.

Mechanical:

*

BTEC Level 3 Certification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (C&G 6188 Level 2 Heating and Ventilation, Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems).

*

Experience in plumbing system maintenance and fault rectification.

*

EUSR National Water Hygiene Card.
