Job title: Early Years Teaching Assistant

Start date: ASAP/January Starts

Setting: Primary School

Duration: Temp to Perm

Pay: £90 - £100 a day (depending on experience)

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Term time only)

Active Recruitment are working with a state of the art primary school in Waltham Cross who are looking for Early Years Teaching Assistants to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

* Provide care and support for toddlers and preschool-aged children

* Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans

* Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment

* Teach foundational math and literacy skills

* Plan and organize activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Monitor and assess the progress of each child

* Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child

* Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment

Qualifications:

* Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting

* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners

* Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
