Financial Accountant - Nottinghamshire + Hybrid - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - £55,000 - £68,000

This role is with an impressive, growing commercial business, who are really supportive and have a great culture, and looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will likely have an audit background from practice, will be Qualified (ACA/ACCA/Similar), and be an excellent communicator, and someone who is highly organised and detailed. You will be technically strong and accurate, and familiar with IFRS. This initial 12 month contract will suit a more experienced practice candidate, or someone practice trained with some experience in industry.

Key Areas of the Role:

· Supporting preparation of statutory accounts

· Preparing Group consolidations

· Using Microsoft Excel extensively, as well as other systems

· Supporting the wider finance team.

· Communicating with, and managing key senior stakeholders

· Supporting the audit process and liaising with the auditors

· Ad hoc finance projects
