Job Overview:
We are seeking a Tendering Engineer to join our team and manage the tendering process for major electrical projects, including DNO contestable works (11-33kV), renewable energy balance of plant works, and 66kV-132kV projects. The role involves ensuring tenders are delivered to budget, time, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage tendering for multiple and major projects, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and safety regulations.
Oversee costing, quotations, and ensure compliance with legislation (HASAWA, NRSWA, C.O.S.H.H.).
Identify commercial opportunities and report to senior management.
Produce front-end programmes for certain tenders using project management tools.
Conduct final reviews of delivered projects to assess financial and delivery performance.
Collaborate with the Major Projects team to ensure safe and efficient project implementation.
Foster relationships with clients and external stakeholders, attending site surveys as required.
Ensure high-quality standards in all work and identify areas for process improvement.
Submit tenders on time and in line with agreed deadlines.
Key Requirements:

Degree or equivalent in an electrical-related subject (HNC, HND).
At least 3 years of experience in ICP or Major Projects at 33kV.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project and CAD for site layout design.
Experience in a commercial, multi-divisional organization.
Strong understanding of HV electrical projects, statutory requirements, and health and safety practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
