Auto Mechanic (Level3 Qualified)

V-Recruit are pleased to be working on behalf of a successful, family-run business to recruit a Level 3 qualified, Auto-Mechanic for a permanent vacancy, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Duties to include
* Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment
* Perform routine maintenance services, including tyre rotations, oil changes, hand break inspections
* Advising customers on most appropriate actions regarding vehicle conditions and necessary repairs
* Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Job specifics
£16-£16.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
This is a full time, permanent role
Working hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday with a foreseeable requirement for alternate Saturday work in the future
There is good potential for progression in this role

Candidate Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Automotive Mechanics is required
* Full Driving Licence required for this role
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
* Proven experience in working in a vehicle repair workshop, with references
* A good understanding of safety requirements within a workshop environment
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Although all diagnostic equipment is provided, you will need all your own hand tools/spanners etc.
