Quantity Surveyor

Oakwhite Contracts Ltd are a shopfitting contractor working nationally mainly within the leisure industry along with other sectors. We have great track record work and being able to complete fitouts on time and within budgets. You would join a team that have worked together for over 15 years and would become part of that team. There would be travel involved and the odd night away all expenses paid. We are looking for someone to work along with our QS and assist with his role.

Our office is based near Horsham West Sussex, This position will be mainly working at various locations nationally.

Quantity Surveyor - Benefits:

Quantity Surveyor - Role and Responsibility:

* Tendering stage through to completion of project.

* A good understanding of JCT & NEC forms of contract.

* The financial position of construction projects is accurately reported and controlled effectively.

* Tender submissions

* Attend site meetings along with the wider team.

* Source quotes and manage procurement of materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.

* Handle contractual and legal issues that arise during projects.

* Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and regulations.

Quantity Surveyor - Skills and Experience:

* A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

* Full driving licence

* Strong IT skills along with management of documentation and reporting.

* Must be reliable, presentable and be able to control handle meetings with the wider team.
