We are recruiting for a dynamic and growing construction company based in London. Due to an internal restructure, they require an Interim Management Accountant to cover a handover whilst a permanent employee is recruited and onboarded.

The role works on a hybrid basis - with 3 days per week required on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the handover process, ensuring continuity and accuracy of financial information

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with regulatory requirements

• Assist with year-end preparations and audits as required

• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to senior management

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

• Proven experience in a management accounting role, preferably within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
