A well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer of heat exchangers is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator to join their busy fabrication unit. Key Responsibilities:
" Welding and fabricating mild steel pipes (3"-12" O/D, wall thickness 6-10mm).
" Minimal stainless-steel work, including shells (8"-16" O/D, 10s wall thickness).
" Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-quality work.
" Ensuring all finished welds are aesthetically pleasing for painting.
" Adhering to high safety standards while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.________________________________________
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
" Proven MIG/TIG welding and fabrication experience.
" Pipe welding expertise, with coded welding experience preferred.
" Strong ability to interpret technical engineering drawings.
" Commitment to producing high-quality work.
" Experience with heat exchanger components is an advantage but not required.________________________________________
What's On Offer:
" Hourly Rate: £15/hour (dependent on experience).
" Hours: 39 hours per week.
o Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
o Friday: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
" Breaks: 20-minute paid morning break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
