Example Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Approved Electrician to join our growing team, working across commercial and domestic maintenance projects in the Edinburgh area. Key Details:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (8 hours per day)

Overtime: Available - time and a half applies

*

Call-Out Rota: Not currently in place but may be introduced in the future

*

Call-Out Pay: £25 per standby night + time and a half for call-outs

*

Vehicle & Tools: Company van provided with a basic toolkit (additional tools as required)

Responsibilities:

Carrying out maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems

*

Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults

*

Ensuring all work is carried out to current regulations and high standards

Working independently and effectively managing your daily workload

*

Maintaining accurate records of work carried out

What We're Looking For:

*

Fully qualified Approved Electrician

*

Strong background in maintenance and reactive works

*

Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently

*

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices

*

Experience with sustainable energy systems is a bonus

*

Full UK driving licence
