Our client, located in Edgbaston, has around 650 pupils aged from 11 to 18. The school is synonymous with intellectual ambition, with a mission to offer an unrivalled education to the brightest girls in and around Birmingham irrespective of their social or economic background. Their girls contribute to academic journals, win extraordinary awards and go onto study at the best universities.
They are seeking a School Nurse who will be part of the Pastoral team and will report to the Senior Deputy Head (Pastoral). The nursing role requires a holistic approach to the girls' physical and emotional wellbeing. The School Nurse will be expected to be proactive in the management of effective health promotion within the school by communicating with pupils, staff, families and the wider community, supporting all girls' health and wellbeing needs, and providing preventative and early intervention strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional candidate to work in an education setting, with girls, staff and parents.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week 8.15am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.15am to 3.45pm Friday (with a 30-minute unpaid break every day) - some flexibility may be possible for the right candidate. Term time plus 7 days during school holidays (includes INSET days and two Open Mornings)
