Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a psychological therapist (Counsellor/Psychotherapist/Psychologist) to work within specialist education in Kent.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working in a recently opened school for children with Autism, Asergers and Speech, Language and Communication needs. You will work as part of an MDT clinical team supporting young people who present with a complexity of need including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions and special educational needs.

You will complete clinical assessments and formulation and offer individualised interventions.

Contract type - permanent

Hours - Full time

Salary - £37,398 - £45,038 FTE

Experience required:

BACP accredited Counsellors and Psychotherapists or HCPC registered Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists with experience working within a specialist education setting.
