Your Day-to-Day:

Be integral to the delivery of technical projects, producing high quality deliverables and working both independently and as part of a team.
Play a fundamental role in the development of other team members.
Able to use problem solving skills on challenging in radioactive waste management issues.
Knowledge of the radioactive waste management lifecycle and be able to align approaches across the project and applicable national policies and legislation.
Develop an open environment of continuous improvement of project/ programme including performing environmental permitting and assessment requirements (e.g. BPM).
Maintain a strong customer focus and able to maintain and develop client relationships.
Able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Who you are:

Degree in a physical science OR equivalent training/experience
Significant proven experience in radioactive waste management with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience.
Proven experience in two or more of the following: decommissioning, characterisation, disposability assessments, application of the environmental legislation, production of BAT/BPM assessments, DQO application and waste assay techniques.
Able to prioritise based on business needs and lead on certain projects
