Job Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Groundworkers to join our client, a well-established Groundworks contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks, including drainage, foundations and general site preparation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects with a reputable contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out groundworks including drainage and foundations.

*

Operate hand and power tools effectively.

*

Assist with excavations and trench work.

*

Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

*

Work collaboratively with site teams and follow instructions from site supervisors.

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Requirements:

*

Valid CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (ESSENTIAL).

*

Proven experience working as a Groundworker on construction sites.

*

Ability to work safely and follow health and safety guidelines.

*

Good knowledge of drainage, concreting, and general groundwork practices.

*

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable:

*

Dumper/Roller ticket (advantageous but not essential).

*

Experience operating plant machinery.

*

Additional site-related certifications (e.g., confined spaces, street works).
