About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects across various sectors, ensuring profitability and alignment with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.

* Prepare and submit competitive tenders for electrical installations and maintenance projects.

* Identify material, labor, and equipment requirements and calculate associated costs.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate costings and competitive pricing.

* Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and emerging technologies.

* Attend site visits and client meetings to gain insights into project scope and complexities.

* Maintain a database of cost information, supplier contacts, and historical data for future reference.

* Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering discussions with clients.

Qualifications and Experience

* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in commercial, industrial, or residential projects.

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation processes.

* Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).
