Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a global food manufacturing business to recruit a Senior Hygiene Operative. This role is key in ensuring the site meets hygiene and food safety standards while leading a team of operatives to deliver effective cleaning schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and coordinate hygiene teams to ensure cleaning tasks are completed to required standards.

* Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and audit standards.

* Ensure cleaning procedures are followed correctly, including chemicals and equipment.

* Conduct hygiene audits, swabbing, and risk assessments to drive improvements.

* Manage staff training, shift planning, and team performance.

* Work closely with production, technical, and H&S teams to resolve hygiene-related issues.

On Offer

* up to £35,000

* Monday to Friday days - 6am till 2pm or 7am till 3pm.

* 6.5/13% pension.

* 34 days AL.
