Birchrose Associates are recruiting for a Locum Private Client Solicitor or Legal Assistant to assist at a reputable firm based in East Midlands for 3-6 months + in duration.The OpportunityWe are partnering with a reputable firm in the East Midlands to recruit for a Locum Private Client Solicitor or Locum Legal Executive to cover whilst the firm recruit on a permanent basis. The locum will be able to work on a hybrid basis from the start.This assignment is to start ASAP with an expected duration of 3 months with potential to extend beyond this point. The locum can work 3 or 4 days per week.ResponsibilitiesThe successful Locum will manage a caseload of private client matters including:
- Probate matters
- Lasting powers of attorney
- Wills
The locum will benefit from highly experienced secretarial support and support from the Head of Department.

Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Experience handling busy caseloads of private client work
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and hit the ground running in a locum role
