Senior Finance Business Partner required for a leading sports Business in London!
Up to £100,000 + bonus and benefits, dependant on experience
Stanton House are working with a leading sports business who are looking to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week spent in the office.
As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting key departments, providing robust financial analysis, and influencing decision-making to maximize value. This is a leadership role with direct reports, where you'll own management accounting, financial planning processes, and deliver commercial financial support to help shape strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Track record of full P&L ownership
- Experience in business partnering at an executive level within a dynamic commercial environment
- A proactive communicator who can simplify financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders
- Skilled in preparing investment appraisals and offering commercially sound financial advice
- Proven leadership abilities to inspire and develop a team while managing competing priorities effectively
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to craft compelling presentations for stakeholders up to Board level
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Own the monthly financial reporting and budgeting process for key divisions
- Provide insightful management information to guide decision-making
- Ensure financial results align with strategic goals and deliver maximum impact
- Collaborate on investment proposals, ensuring funds are allocated to optimise returns
- Maintain strong financial controls and identify areas of improvement
- Contribute to Board papers and support audit processes
