Job Title: Technical Manager - Data Centre Solutions

Salary: Up to £80,000 + package

Location: Central London

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Technical Manager to join a leading organisation in the critical facilities sector. This is a key site-based role within their rapidly expanding Data Centre Solutions division, located in the Docklands area. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a state-of-the-art critical environment, ensuring optimal performance and 100% uptime of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of all critical systems to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
Supervise planned and reactive maintenance activities, prioritising tasks for maximum efficiency.
Manage subcontractor inductions, permits, risk assessments and compliance with site procedures.
Develop and update site-specific operational procedures (EOPs, SOPs, MOPs, etc.).
Provide leadership and development for the engineering team, conducting regular appraisals and training.
Act as the designated Critical Facility Manager (CFM) in their absence.Key Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of direct industry experience, or 10+ years at an electrician/technician level with supervisory experience.
Expertise in data centre, pharmaceutical production, power plants or hospital environments is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems including transformers, UPS systems, chillers, air handling units and fire suppression systems.
Familiarity with control equipment such as PLCs and BMS.
HV SAP Qualification is essential.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and peers.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and outside regular hours when required.Key Attributes:
