We are looking for an experienced electrical design engineer for a busy independent company that is working on some truly outstanding high value projects with more in the pipeline.

This role is available due to expansion, so you are not filling old shoes but instead joining a company that is going from strength to strength and expanding.

What will you be doing?

You will have a variety of responsibilities, as you will be working on multiple projects at a time.

These responsibilities rage from - collaborating with your mechanical & sustainability counterparts on projects - to - the overall electrical design and calculation works on projects - to - assisting junior team members to help their development and more.

The designs and calculations you will produce will be for LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire & security alarms etc.

What skills / experience is needed for this role?

You need to have at least 3 years' experience within electrical design engineering, within commercial or industrial construction. In addition to:

• A working knowledge of current building regulations, IEE Wiring regs, British standards
• CIBSE & BSRIA documentation.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD, Revit &/or Hevacomp

At minimum, you will also need to be working towards member of CIBSE/IET accreditation.
