Salary:£35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Fridays off!)Location: North Yorkshire

The Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in streamlining processes, supporting production, and ensuring the highest standards in fabrication and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and production teams to create and improve technical drawings and specifications.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on the shop floor, ensuring smooth production operations.
• Provide technical support throughout the production cycle, maintaining quality and precision.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
