Job Description:

As a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects, you will be responsible for managing the financial and commercial aspects of M&E packages from inception to completion. Your role will involve cost management, contract administration, and the preparation of project budgets and forecasts. Working closely with project teams, suppliers, and contractors, you will ensure that projects are delivered within budget, to specification, and in line with the contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage cost control and commercial management of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects.

* Prepare, review, and update detailed cost plans and budgets.

* Conduct tender analysis and manage procurement processes.

* Assess, negotiate, and agree on valuations, variations, and final accounts.

* Provide regular financial reporting and risk analysis for M&E packages.

* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and monitor project performance.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, preferably on M&E projects.

* Strong knowledge of M&E systems and contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.).

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

* Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).

Desirable:

* MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.

* Experience in both pre- and post-contract stages
