A fast-growing business based South of Birmingham has had an exciting opportunity come up within their finance team! This position is a finance assistant with a heavier focus on sales ledger, this position will be looking after a range of responsibilities such as processing invoices, raising invoices, reconciliation of the bank etc. However, the focus on this role will be investigating and resolving finance queries, specifically, why invoices aren't being paid, these issues can be for a range of simple reasons or sometimes more complex and it will be your responsibility to investigate and resolve them all!

The successful candidate will need to be someone who loves solving puzzles, due to this role having a focus on resolving queries and finding out what is wrong with an invoice there is a large aspect of investigation required. This will also require the successful person to be confident with strong customer service skills as this role will be liaising with a range of people over the phone and over email. This position will be structured as temporary to permanent, however the temporary aspect is more of a probationary period, this is due to the fact this position is looking to begin quickly, therefore please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period!

• Have previous experience working with queries or customer service.
• Have strong customer service skills, due to the fact this this role requires a lot of liaising with clients.
• Be confident on excel, this position will involve a range of reports that need auctioning for management.
• Be immediately available or on a short notice period, our clients are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
