Job Description:
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for looking after Services Users
and Domiciliary Care Assistants within the local community.
This will include carrying out risk assessments, making sure client folders are up to
date and supporting new staff with their induction.
You will be expected to update care plans based on supervisions conducted to
ensure the care plans reflect exactly the care being delivered or vice versa.
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will need to ensure all calls are delivered to the
highest levels, and the care staff feel fully supported.
The role takes responsibility for ensuring our service users are receiving the care
and support they expect and deserve.
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will monitor and manage compliance and quality by
visiting our service users and spot checks with our care staff.
Ensuring that the client receives the appropriate care package, and that continuity of
care is a priority.
Carry out follow up visits to new clients.
Continue to work as a hands-on carer with an allocated day spent in the
community/office.
To assist the Quality Control Manager in auditing the standard of service delivery to
clients.
Mentor and support new and existing care staff.
Carry out health and safety checks
Carry out health and safety risk assessments.
Complete any other tasks as required by the Registered Manager.
Be flexible to meet the business needs including alternate out of hours on-call duties
as required. (Working on a rota basis).
Ensure safeguarding to all our service users.

Requirements:
You will have previous experience in providing care within a Home Care or Care
environment.
Trained in NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, and/or a relevant
qualification or be working towards.
Be willing to work flexible hours.
Have strong communication and leadership skills and be able to lead by example.
You will be travelling to service user's homes and will therefore be required to have a
full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Able to communicate effectively and make detailed records of your observations
when in the field.
Able to correct care staff and rectify practices in line with our policies and
procedures.
A good understanding of KSL policies and procedures to provide constructive
feedback into care and documentation.
