We are working with the residential developer and building division of a respected Tier 1 national building contractor who need a Customer Service Manager to join their post contract & quality team.
The regional office is in Basingstoke and they work on developments of 50 to 200 units on both new builds as well as some social housing and smaller blocks of flats and apartments across the Dorset, Hampshire, Berkshire areas.
The role is to work with customers, clients and the defects teams to manage customer queries and complaints relating to new build properties.
You will be responsible for logging queries, dealing with telephone enquiries, booking and attending visits to properties to establish the nature of the issue, writing reports and dealing with subcontractors and internal staff to resolve matters usually through further inspections and then arranging for remedial and repair works to take place and then following up to check completion and sign off the works.
You will be need to be organised, diligent and professional and be able to deal with customers and subcontractors and be able to manage multiple projects and properties at varying stages and be able to record and deal with a wide range of paperwork and specific technical documentation.
Previous experience in a residential or construction related business is essential and you will be expected to travel to the schemes so driving licence is essential as well.
