About the Teaching Assistant Role:

We are looking for a motivated and caring KS2 Teaching Assistant to work part-time, providing crucial support to Key Stage 2 students. This role focuses on boosters and interventions, helping children to achieve their full potential in both academic and personal development. You'll work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support, including assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

KS2 TA Key Responsibilities:

• Support small groups and individual students with booster sessions in core subjects such as literacy and numeracy.

• Assist pupils with SEN, ensuring their individual learning needs are met with care and patience.

• Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging interventions.

• Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies to suit their needs.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation and confidence.
