A client within the Public Sector based in Hampshire is currently recruiting for an Electrical Operations Supervisor to join their Commercial Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a housing maintenance environment.The RoleKey purpose of the role is to oversee the delivery of all electrical works across the housing stock, ensuring safe working practices, technical compliance, and high-quality standards. The role also involves leading a team of electrical professionals, monitoring performance and maintaining training standards while delivering a customer-centric service.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Managing the delivery of electrical installations, responsive repairs, and planned works including full rewires and heating installations
• Acting as a Qualified Supervisor (QS) to review and sign off electrical certification
• Ensuring all electrical inspection and testing results are recorded and validated properly
• Overseeing compliance with health and safety legislation and BS7671
• Providing team leadership, monitoring performance, and ensuring effective customer resolution
• Deputising for the Senior Electrical Operations Manager as requiredThe CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require:
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Work or equivalent (e.g. City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 or 2330 levels 2 and 3)
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 in Inspection and Testing
• Experience in a supervisory electrical role and prior registration as a Qualified Supervisor with NICEIC or equivalentThe below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Knowledge of BS7671 and demonstrable experience in electrical testing and commissioning
• Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
